TATIONIL (GLUTATHIONE) 600MG\4ML (ITALY)
82у.е. (На замовлення)

Dosage Form:
Lyophilized powder for solution for intravenous administration 600 mg, accompanied by a solvent – 4 ml of water for injection.
Glutathione is a physiological tripeptide composed of glutamic acid, cysteine, and glycine, which participates in various biological processes and plays a crucial role in detoxification, protecting cells from the harmful effects of xenobiotics, free radicals, and radiation.
Preclinical and clinical studies have demonstrated the protective role of glutathione in various situations that cause pathological cell damage, such as poisoning by substances like ethyl alcohol, paracetamol, salicylates, phenobarbital, tricyclic antidepressants, organophosphorus insecticides, etc.
It has also been observed that glutathione affects the activity of many chemotherapeutic agents by reducing the level of endogenous glutathione in tissues, thereby decreasing oxidative stress caused by the tumor process.
The use of drugs like cisplatin and its derivatives for the prevention of neurotoxicity induced by chemotherapeutic agents was prompted by the fact that platinum accumulates in the peripheral nervous system, especially in the dorsal root ganglia. Therefore, substances like glutathione, capable of preventing the initial accumulation of platinum in the dorsal root ganglia, are used.
Clinical studies have confirmed that glutathione infusion before the administration of antitumor agents in patients with ovarian carcinoma, gastric carcinoma, and colorectal cancer provides effective protection against renal failure and neurotoxicity caused by the use of cisplatin and oxaliplatin, allowing, if necessary, to achieve higher cumulative doses of the antitumor agent.
Indications for Use:
Used as a primary agent in the "Milan cocktail," complementing the action of esafosfines. Administered intravenously according to a specific regimen.
Glutathione is indicated as a remedy for intoxication by the following substances: ethyl alcohol, organophosphorus agents, acetaminophen, certain chemotherapeutic agents, cytotoxic and antitubercular drugs, psychotropic, neuroleptic agents, antidepressants.
Glutathione is also effective in the prevention or treatment of damage caused by radioactive exposure.
Applicable in hepatopathy.
Package contains 10 ampoules.
