which makes sperm immobile within 15-20 minutes.
5. Do not urinate for 2-3 hours before providing the ejaculate sample.

The ejaculate is obtained through masturbation in a special room.
The semen is collected in a sterile container.
The patient's hands must be thoroughly washed.

It is very important to collect the ejaculate completely,
as the first portion contains the highest concentration of sperm.

If the ejaculate is collected at home (which is only possible in exceptional cases),
it must be delivered to the laboratory within 40 minutes.
Optimal transportation temperature for maintaining parameters is 35-36°C.
