“Test-Tube Baby” Day
This celebration was established by the reproductive medicine specialists at our clinic. It is dedicated to children born with the help of assisted reproductive technologies and has been held for 10 consecutive years on the first Sunday of April!
Thanks to Genesis Dnipro Clinic, more than 4,000 children have been born, and we are planning to organize a White Orchids Festival!!!!
The orchid became the symbol of the celebration for a reason:
it is the only flower in the world whose propagation uses assisted reproductive technologies. The miracle of a child’s birth through in vitro fertilization (IVF) is in many ways similar to the way biologists grow delicate orchids.
“This year, we are celebrating an anniversary and are delighted that thousands of Ukrainian children have come into the world thanks to in vitro fertilization (IVF). We strive not only to tell people more about the possibilities of modern medicine, but also to show that children born through IVF are just as healthy, beautiful, intelligent, and talented as those conceived naturally,” comments Igor Perelygin, obstetrician-gynecologist, founder and director of Genesis Dnipro.
White Orchids Day is another opportunity to draw public attention to the problem of infertility and show that innovative and safe ways exist to make the dream of parenthood come true. After all, one in five couples in Ukraine experiences difficulties conceiving a child.
