Normast® 600 mg, 60 tablets, is a dietary medical nutrition product based on palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) in an ultramicronized form (particle size from 0.8 to 6.0 microns). Normast 600 mg acts in the body as a biological modulator, helping to control the physiological reactivity of nerve tissue at various levels (sensory endings, endoneurial space, spinal synaptic connection between the first and second neuron), thus controlling inflammatory and/or neuropathic pain.
The use of Normast 600 mg replenishes endogenous reserves of palmitoylethanolamide, the level of which decreases in pathologies of the peripheral nervous system accompanied by tissue hyperreactivity caused by mast cell activation. Nerve tissue—both peripheral and spinal—loses the ability to synthesize endogenous palmitoylethanolamide in recurrent and/or chronic neuroinflammatory conditions of various origins, increasing the risk of developing inflammatory pain and, in the presence of damage and/or dysfunction of the somatosensory system, contributing to the transition of inflammatory pain to neuropathic pain. In such cases, it is extremely important to counteract the activation of non-neuronal cells (mast cells in the area of sensory endings and/or in the endoneurial space, microglia at the spinal cord level), which normally ensure homeodynamic balance and trophic support of nerve tissue.
Normast® 600 promotes the restoration of peripheral nerve function in cases of damage and disorders:
• Reduces pain syndrome caused by endoneurial edema;
• Contains palmitoylethanolamide—a powerful analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent;
• Recommended for pathologies of peripheral nerves accompanied by endoneurial edema;
• Stimulates the functional activity of peripheral nerves.
Normast 600 mg, 60 tablets, should be used under medical supervision in the diet of patients with disorders associated with neuroinflammatory processes.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
As prescribed by a doctor: typically, the course consists of 1–2 tablets per day for 30–60 days, possibly with a preliminary 10-day course of Normast® 600 in microgranule form.
