Composition

IRIREACT 3 mg/ml + 0.5 mg/ml MONTEFARMACO, eye drops (solution)
Indications
The eye solution is indicated for allergic and inflammatory conditions of the conjunctiva, accompanied by photophobia, tearing, foreign body sensation, and pain.
Dosage and Administration
Instill 1–2 drops in the affected eye 2–3 times a day. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Important: Exceeding the dosage, even with local application and for a short period, may cause serious systemic side effects.
Contraindications
• Children under 12 years
• Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug or chemically related substances, especially xylometazoline, oxymetazoline, naphazoline.
• Closed-angle glaucoma or other severe eye diseases.
• Concurrent use with MAO inhibitors (tranylcypromine, phenelzine, pargyline)
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding — contraindicated unless absolutely necessary.
Special Warnings and Precautions
Use with caution in:
• Arterial hypertension,
• Hyperthyroidism,
• Cardiovascular diseases,
• Hyperglycemia (diabetes mellitus).
Do not use for more than 4 consecutive days without a doctor's prescription.
In case of ingestion or prolonged use in high doses, toxic effects may occur. In case of infection, presence of pus, foreign bodies, mechanical/chemical/thermal damage — consult a doctor.
Prolonged use may cause sensitization — in this case, treatment should be discontinued.
Drug Interactions
Do not use concurrently with MAO inhibitors — there is a risk of severe hypertensive crises.
Pregnancy and Lactation
There is insufficient data on use in pregnant women. Use only when absolutely necessary and under medical supervision.
Driving and Operating Machinery
Based on available data, the drug has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and operate machinery.
Side Effects
• Pupil dilation
• Systemic effects: hypertension, cardiac disorders, hyperglycemia
• Increased intraocular pressure, nausea, headache
• In children upon ingestion: drowsiness, hypotension, up to coma
• Rarely — allergic reactions
Overdose
In case of accidental ingestion or prolonged use in high doses, toxic effects may occur, including CNS depression, severe drowsiness, coma. Gastric lavage and symptomatic therapy are recommended.
Shelf Life
3 years in unopened packaging. After opening the sachet with single doses — do not use for more than 28 days. Without preservatives: use immediately after opening, dispose of any remaining product.
Storage Conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
