Packaging: 6 ampoules of 2 ml each (4 mg of thiocolchicoside per ampoule)
Indications for use:
Adjunctive treatment of painful muscle spasms, especially in acute spinal conditions (e.g., lumbago, cervical spasm, dorsalgia), traumatic and neurological pathologies.
Method of administration and dosage:
• Adults: 4 mg (one ampoule) intramuscularly every 12 hours.
• Maximum dose: 8 mg per day.
• Duration of treatment: no more than 5 consecutive days.
• Not to be used in children and adolescents under 16 years of age.
Contraindications:
• Hypersensitivity to thiocolchicoside or any components of the drug;
• Flaccid paralysis, muscle hypotonia;
• Pregnancy and lactation;
• Patients not using effective contraception (women — 1 month, men — 3 months after the end of therapy).
Special precautions:
• Fainting may occur after injection — monitor the patient.
• Do not exceed recommended doses.
• May cause seizures and hepatotoxicity.
• Should be used only intramuscularly, avoiding intravascular administration (risk of Nicolau syndrome).
Storage conditions:
Store at room temperature, protected from light. No special storage conditions required.
