Cryotherapy (treatment of the uterus with liquid nitrogen) is conducted on the 7th-8th day of the menstrual cycle with the presence of additional examination methods.
During the therapy, the patient experiences slight lower abdominal pain.
After the procedure, some women experience a vascular reaction to the low temperature - a feeling of heat.
A few hours later, watery discharge appears,
which will intensify over time.
In 10-14 days, bloody discharge may appear.
Within a month, it is not recommended to:
- engage in sexual activity
- douche and use hygienic tampons
- take hot baths (only shower)
Epithelialization occurs within 2-3 months.
Follow-up examination - after the end of menstruation.
