Active ingredient: pentoxifylline. Each tablet contains 400 mg of pentoxifylline.

Pentoxifylline improves the rheological properties of blood (fluidity) by reducing increased blood viscosity. Its pharmacological properties are explained by the fact that it:
• Enhances the impaired deformability of erythrocytes by inhibiting phosphodiesterase, leading to increased intracellular concentrations of cAMP and ATP, and also inhibits erythrocyte aggregation
• Inhibits platelet aggregation
• Reduces pathologically high levels of fibrinogen in plasma
• Inhibits leukocyte activation and adhesion to the vascular endothelium.
Indications
Extension of pain-free walking distance in patients with chronic occlusive peripheral arterial disease at stage IIb according to Fontaine (intermittent claudication), when other measures such as walking training, angioplasty, and/or reconstructive procedures cannot be performed or are not indicated.
Inner ear dysfunction caused by circulatory disorders (including hearing loss and sudden hearing loss).
The dosage of Trental 400 mg is determined by the doctor, taking into account the individual characteristics of the patient.
The package contains 30 tablets.
