RENAL CHECKUP ( ренальный)
Renal (kidney) check-up is a comprehensive examination aimed at the early detection of kidney and urinary system diseases.
350у.е.
The program includes advanced laboratory diagnostics, kidney ultrasound with blood flow assessment, and consultations with specialized doctors. The examination allows evaluation of kidney filtration function, detection of inflammatory processes, mineral metabolism disorders, presence of stones, cysts, and other changes before pronounced symptoms appear. Such a check-up is especially important in cases of high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus, swelling, lower back pain, changes in urine tests, or a hereditary predisposition to kidney diseases.
The check-up includes:
Kidney panel:
- Total protein
- Albumin
- Urea
- Creatinine (blood serum)
- Glomerular filtration rate (CKD-EPI)
- Cystatin C
Additional tests:
- Uric acid
- Sodium (Na)
- Potassium (K)
- Chloride (Cl)
- Calcium (Ca)
- Inorganic phosphorus
- Parathyroid hormone (PTH 1–84), bio-intact
- Urine bacteriological culture
- Three-glass urine test
- Urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio
Ultrasound diagnostics
Kidney ultrasound (right and left kidney):
- Kidney size
- Parenchymal thickness (right/left kidney, mm)
- Layer differentiation (preserved/blurred)
- Parenchymal echogenicity (normal/increased)
- Renal pelvis / pelvis calyces (normal/dilated)
- Presence of calculi (description, size)
- Masses / cysts (description)
- Kidney mobility during breathing
- Maximum flow velocity (Vmax) in the renal artery (right/left kidney, cm/s)
- Resistance index (RI) (right/left kidney)
Specialist consultations:
- Nephrologist consultation
- Urologist consultation
- Therapist consultation
Medical support

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR KIDNEY CHECK-UP TESTS:
1. Blood tests (biochemistry and parathyroid hormone)
Draw blood strictly on an empty stomach in the morning (8–12 hours fasting).
Only plain water is allowed.
The day before, avoid:
- alcohol,
- fatty foods,
- excess meat products,
- intense physical activities and workouts.
Before blood sampling, sit calmly for 15 minutes.
Take all morning medications after the procedure.
2. Urine tests (general analysis and albumin/creatinine ratio)
Prepare 3 sterile containers.
Collect the first, second, and third portions of morning urine (divide the urine stream into 3 parts).
Deliver the samples to the laboratory within 1.5–2 hours.
Do not take diuretics or consume coloring foods (beetroot, blueberries) the day before.
Maintain normal fluid intake before urine collection and avoid excessive fluid consumption.
