To obtain the most reliable results, please follow these guidelines:

- Do not eat for 10–12 hours prior to blood sampling. You may drink a small amount of plain still water.
- Avoid alcohol, intense physical activity, and, if possible, stressful situations for 24 hours before the examination.
- Do not smoke or consume coffee, strong tea, or energy drinks for 2–3 hours before testing.
- If you are on regular medication, do not discontinue it without consulting your physician. Inform the doctor and medical staff about all medications you take.
- Blood samples are recommended to be taken in the morning (from 8:00 am to 11:00 am).
- For abdominal ultrasound, fast for 6–8 hours beforehand. It is advisable to limit foods that cause gas formation 2–3 days before the exam.
- For bladder ultrasound, arrive with a moderately full bladder: drink 500–700 ml of non-carbonated water 1–1.5 hours before the procedure and avoid urination.
- Before brain MRI, remove all metal objects. If you have had previous brain MRI or CT scans, bring the results for comparison.
- For the neurologist consultation, bring all available medical documents: discharge summaries, previous test results, MRI, CT scans, blood tests, and a list of medications you are taking.
