Albendazole is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic agent. It disrupts the metabolism of parasites, leading to their death. It is effective against most intestinal and tissue helminths, including:
• Pinworms
• Ascarids
• Giardia
• Hookworms
• Trichinella
• Broad tapeworm and others
Indications for use:
• Enterobiasis
• Ascariasis
• Giardiasis
• Trichinellosis
• Taeniasis
• Strongyloidiasis
• Mixed helminthiases
For children, the dosage is adjusted according to age and body weight. Always consult a doctor!
Contraindications:
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Children under 2 years of age (unless recommended by a doctor)
• Hypersensitivity to albendazole
• Liver diseases (use with caution)
