Gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogs.
Indications
Prostate cancer.
Breast cancer. Treatment of advanced hormone-sensitive breast cancer in pre- and perimenopausal women.
As an alternative to chemotherapy in the standard treatment of pre/perimenopausal women with estrogen receptor (ER) positive early breast cancer.
Endometriosis. Alleviates symptoms, including pain, and reduces the size and number of endometrial lesions.
Endometrial thinning. For pre-thinning of the endometrium before its ablation or resection.
Uterine fibroids. In combination with iron therapy to improve the hematological status of patients with anemia due to fibroids before surgery.
In vitro fertilization. Pituitary desensitization in preparation for superovulation stimulation.
