Indications for use:
Hormone replacement therapy, Menopause, Perimenopause, Osteoporosis, Prevention of osteoporosis
Therapeutic indications:
Physiological or post-operative menopause (hot flashes, sleep disturbances, urogenital atrophy, mental instability, mood disorders); postmenopausal osteoporosis (prevention).
Method of administration and dosage:
Apply to clean, dry, and degreased intact skin on the thigh, lower back, or abdomen (alternate application sites). Treatment begins with the application of one Dermestril 25 patch. The patch is changed twice a week (preferably on the same days of the week, e.g., Monday and Thursday); if the patch detaches spontaneously, it should be replaced with a new one. The maximum daily dose is 100 mcg. The medication is used cyclically for 3 weeks (6 applications) followed by a one-week break. In the case of hysterectomy, it is prescribed continuously.
Contraindications:
Breast cancer and other estrogen-dependent tumors (diagnosed or suspected), endometriosis, vaginal bleeding of unknown etiology; severe kidney, liver, and cardiovascular diseases; thromboembolism and thrombophlebitis (including in history), pregnancy, childhood.
