Testavan gel contains testosterone and is used for replacement therapy in men with confirmed hypogonadism, where testosterone levels are low and clinical symptoms are present (reduced libido, fatigue, decreased muscle mass, etc.).
The medication is contraindicated in:
• Prostate or breast cancer
• Tumors sensitive to androgens
• Severe heart, liver, or kidney failure
• Allergy to the components of the medication
• Women and children
Use with caution in:
• Sleep apnea
• Hypertension
• Polycythemia (increased hematocrit)
• Prostate diseases
• Thrombophilia
How to use
The dose is prescribed by a doctor individually. The usual regimen: apply to clean, dry skin of the shoulders or upper arms once a day.
Important application instructions:
• Apply after showering/washing on dry skin
• Do not apply to genitals
• Allow to dry before dressing (usually 5–10 minutes)
• Do not wash the treated area for at least 2 hours
• Avoid skin-to-skin contact with others until fully dry (especially women and children)
