What the examination includes:

- PCR diagnostics in blood (as prescribed by a doctor) — to confirm active replication of the pathogen.

The presence of IgG antibodies often indicates established immunity and does not mean an active infection; a positive IgM requires additional confirmation (retesting, IgG avidity, PCR).
