Blood tests for viral hepatitis (A, B, C, D, E)
Blood tests for viral hepatitis (A, B, C, D, E)
We conduct laboratory tests for screening and detailed diagnosis of viral hepatitis. Both individual markers and comprehensive panels are available.
Available Tests:
Hepatitis A (HAV): IgM and IgG antibodies (to determine acute infection and immunity status).
Hepatitis B (HBV): HBsAg, anti-HBs, anti-HBc (total/IgM), HBeAg/anti-HBe; HBV-DNA PCR (qualitative/quantitative), and genotyping if necessary.
Hepatitis C (HCV): anti-HCV (screening), HCV-RNA PCR (qualitative/quantitative), and genotyping.
Hepatitis D (HDV): anti-HDV and HDV-RNA PCR (as indicated, for HBsAg-positive status).
Hepatitis E (HEV): IgM/IgG antibodies; HEV-RNA PCR — as prescribed by a doctor.
Additionally: "liver function tests" (ALT, AST, bilirubin, GGT, ALP, albumin), coagulation profile — to assess liver function and monitor therapy.
Interpretation is performed by a doctor considering medical history, vaccination, blood biochemistry, and other data. A positive screening test requires confirmation; the presence of antibodies does not always indicate an active infection (e.g., anti-HBs after vaccination indicates immunity). In the early stages after infection, a "seronegative period" is possible; if at risk, repeat testing and/or PCR may be required as recommended by a doctor.
Contact us to select the optimal set of tests and a convenient time for testing. We will help you quickly and reliably obtain results that are important for your health and the safety of your loved ones.
