Medicinal properties of pumpkin seed oil
Pumpkin seed oil has powerful antioxidant properties, providing a general strengthening effect on the body, boosting immunity, and accelerating metabolism. Benefits of pumpkin seed oil for the gastrointestinal tract and digestive system
Pumpkin seed oil has long been used in folk medicine as a remedy to improve liver and gallbladder function. The complex of natural phospholipids, unsaturated fatty acids, flavonoids, vitamins T, A, and E in pumpkin seed oil normalizes bile secretion, restores liver structure, protecting it from fat deposits, and prevents the development of inflammatory processes in the liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts. Regular consumption of pumpkin seed oil is very beneficial for diseases such as gallstone disease, fatty liver dystrophy, cholecystitis, cholecystocholangitis, biliary dyskinesia, and viral hepatitis. Due to its pronounced hepatoprotective properties, its use is also often recommended for alcohol-induced liver damage (cirrhosis, alcoholic hepatitis) or as part of comprehensive anti-tumor chemotherapy.

Thanks to the high content of substances in its biochemical composition that have anti-inflammatory and wound-healing effects on the mucous membranes of the intestines and stomach (vitamins A and E, linoleic and linolenic acids, flavonoids, phytosterols, chlorophyll), as well as the presence of vitamin B1, which normalizes the acidity of gastric juice, pumpkin seed oil is quite effective in the prevention and comprehensive treatment of diseases such as gastritis, esophagitis, stomach and duodenal ulcers, colitis, enterocolitis, and gastroduodenitis. In addition, the oil is often used for constipation and flatulence, and due to its pronounced antiparasitic properties, this plant product is successfully used in the treatment of helminthiasis (it is especially effective in combating tapeworms).
