Magnetotherapy for therapeutic and preventive purposes

For therapeutic and preventive purposes, constant, alternating, and pulsed magnetic fields are currently used. Since their physiological and therapeutic effects vary and different devices are used, in magnetotherapy, it is customary to distinguish: constant, pulsed, low- and high-frequency magnetotherapy. Magnetotherapy can be used either independently, or in conjunction with other physical treatment methods, for example - magnetolaser therapy.
Inductothermy - a therapy method, whose active factor is a high-frequency alternating magnetic field. Under the influence of the energy of this field, induced (inductive) eddy currents arise, the mechanical energy of which is converted into thermal energy, leading to the expansion of blood vessels, acceleration of blood flow, reduction of arterial pressure. The anti-inflammatory and resorptive effects of inductothermy are associated with heat generation and increased blood flow. Also, this leads to a reduction in muscle tone - spasms are relieved, Functional activity of the joints is increased. High-frequency magnetic field stimulates bone tissue regeneration and accelerates wound epithelialization. Reducing the excitability of nerve receptors causes analgesic and sedative effects.
Indications for inductothermy:
- chronic and inflammatory processes of various localizations
- post-traumatic conditions
- metabolic-dystrophic disorders (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis)
- chronic inflammatory diseases of female genital organs
- prostatitis
- chronic neurological manifestations - osteochondrosis of the spine - diseases of the cardiovascular system Magnetolaser therapy (MLT) When both magnetic field and laser radiation are applied simultaneously, a photomagneto-electric effect (Kikoin-Noskov effect) occurs. As a result, the content of free (more active) biomolecules and radicals increases, protein synthesis accelerates, RNA, DNA, the rate of collagen synthesis increases, the oxygen balance changes and the activity of oxidative-reductive processes. This leads to reciprocal reactions at the cellular level – a change in the charge of the cell's electric field, its membrane potential. Thus, the use of MLT in treating deeply located pathological foci is more effective.
The treatment course consists of 8-12, less often 15 procedures, lasting 15-20 minutes, conducted daily or every other day. If necessary, a repeat MLT course can be undertaken after 2-4 weeks.
Magnetic-laser therapy is used for the following diseases:
- in surgery: long-term non-healing wounds, trophic ulcers, burns, frostbite, vascular diseases of the lower limbs - in traumatology and orthopedics: inflammatory and traumatic joint and spine diseases, bone fractures, myalgias, arthralgias - in neurology: neuralgias, neuropathies, spinal osteochondrosis with neurological manifestations - in obstetrics and gynecology: lactational mastitis, infertility, inflammatory diseases of internal organs - in dermatology: allergic dermatoses, neurodermatitis psoriasis, eczema, red flat lichen, recurrent herpes, vulgar acne, and others.
The doctor of efferent therapy will tell you about the contraindications of MAGNETOTHERAPY.
Consultation on efferent therapy methods is free.
